Choro Trekk 3 days - 2 nights

DURATION: 3 days/2 nights
It is the premier hike in Bolivia. It begins at La Cumbre and climbs to Abra Chucura at 4800 m.a.s.l., before descending 3250 meters imto the steaming Yungas to the village of Chairo. Enjoy the incredible variety of landforms and vegetation found throughout the different altitude zones.
Many stretches of the trail consist of Tiwanaku’s paving which is both beautiful and difficult to negotiate due to its state of disappearance.

Day 1:

17:00 Camp out at Challapampa

Day 2:
06:30 Breakfast
07:30 Start the trek
12:00 Arrival to Jucumarini river and lunch
17:00 Camp out at Sandillani
19:00 Dinner
Day 3:
08:00 Breakfast
09:00 Start the trek
11:00 Arrival to Chairo and transport to Coroico
12:00 Lunch
13:00 Back to La Paz
16:00 End of service
