f you have decided to take a tour with us and agree with the program established by the agency and its price, it means that you also accept our payment policy under the terms and conditions outlined in this document, which always applies per person.
To confirm the requested service, you may pay the full amount or make a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the tour. This payment or deposit must be transferred to our account in Bolivia or can also be done via Money Gram or Western Union, etc. The remaining balance must be paid up to 20 days before the start of your tour.
Once the package is confirmed, the client will also be requested to provide as soon as possible the information related to the travel participants (names, surnames, birth dates, passport numbers; preferably scanned copies) to ensure the reservations.
If the cancellation is made by the client, regardless of the reason, more than 60 days before the tour, Beauty Tours Bolivia will refund the full amount minus $100 for administrative expenses incurred due to the cancellation. Transfer costs must be paid by the client.
If the cancellation occurs between 60 to 30 days before the tour, there will be a charge of 30% of the total tour price for administrative expenses.
If the cancellation occurs between 30 to 15 days before the tour, there will be a charge of 50% of the total price.
If the cancellation occurs between 15 to 7 days before the start of the tour, there will be a charge of 70% of the total price.
If the cancellation occurs between 7 days and 24 hours before the start of the tour, there will be a charge of 90% of the total price.
If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the start of the tour, there will be a 100% (full) charge of the total price. The same will apply if the client misses the tour or does not complete the established program (regardless of the reason); there will be no refund for the unacquired service.
If the cancellation is made by Beauty Tours Bolivia due to political issues, social situations, wars, road blockages, natural disasters, bad weather, closed airports, delayed flights, buses, trains, or any other means of transport, strikes, danger or potential danger to travelers, or other force majeure reasons, Beauty Tours Bolivia will refund the total amount received at that moment, minus the transfer tax expenses.
It is possible that some hotels, tours, flights booked through us, and other services are subject to strict conditions that involve high cancellation costs and, in some cases, do not provide any type of refund. In such cases, Beauty Tours Bolivia will only refund the remaining amount of the total price, supported by documentation showing that such entities do not refund money for cancellations.
If you have an international flight ticket and we need to cancel your reserved tour due to the reasons mentioned above, Beauty Tours Bolivia will not offer any compensation. Therefore, we recommend that clients take out insurance in their own country to avoid potential travel issues.
Beauty Tours Bolivia may change the programs due to special reasons such as political and social disturbances, wars, road blockages, natural disasters, bad weather, delays or cancellations of flights, trains, or buses, closed airports, strikes, danger or potential danger to the travel member, or other force majeure reasons, etc. The company will seek appropriate alternatives to enable the client to continue with the tour program. These alternatives may involve changes in hotels, means of transport, schedules, dates, or other changes, which will be taken by Beauty Tours Bolivia with the sole purpose of allowing the client to continue with the planned tour. However, these changes may incur additional costs, which must be paid by the travel participant.
Beauty Tours Bolivia does not accept any legal liability for personal or material damage, accidents, illnesses, or luggage loss on planes, trains, buses, or other means of transport. It also does not compensate for missed connections during or at the end of the tour.
The client and the travel participants must inform the agency and the accompanying guides of their health and physical condition so that it is taken into account during the activities.
Even if informed, the agency and its guides will not be considered responsible in case of an accident caused by the participant’s health or physical condition. It is also the responsibility of each participant to check with their doctor if their health condition allows for an extended stay at the altitude of the planned destinations.
If a participant has known difficulties (e.g., breathing issues) that may cause problems in high-altitude areas, they must request in advance that the agency make an oxygen bottle available for them before arriving in the country.
In no case can the agency or its guides substitute for doctors or clients in deciding the best course of action for the participants’ health condition.
The adequacy of the proposed activities to the client's and participants' physical and mental condition is solely their responsibility.
The client and the travel participants are aware that, given the nature of the chosen trip, there may be certain risks, particularly due to the remoteness from medical centers, the state of the roads, and the adventurous nature of certain circuits (such as hiking, climbing, 4x4 expeditions, etc.).
There are not always organizations available for rapid evacuation in certain remote locations. The client and the travel participants acknowledge these risks and agree, in case of an accident, not to endanger the agency, its guides, or its providers’ responsibility.
If circumstances require, especially to ensure the safety of the group, as well as due to climatic reasons or unforeseen events, the agency reserves the right, directly or through its guides or providers, to change the means of transport, accommodation, itinerary, or departure dates and times, without participants seeking compensation.
Each participant must respect safety and communal living rules and follow the instructions given by the guide or provider of the agency.
The hotel infrastructure may be of a lower quality than what can be found in other regions of the world, and local comfort standards and star ratings may not match those participants are accustomed to.
However, the agency regularly works with hotel establishments with which it has trustworthy relationships. Participants cannot request a refund based on different comfort expectations.
If the trip is modified due to airline changes for reasons beyond the agency’s control, it will do its best to offer an alternative solution to the participant(s).
Any additional expenses will be borne by the participant(s).
Claims or compensation rights will be those applicable under local laws.
These procedures can only be carried out by the participant personally. Local authorities may sometimes suspend certain visits or travel at the last minute to ensure the safety of individuals.
The agency cannot be held responsible for the consequences of such a decision, which is considered force majeure (e.g., missing a boat transfer or flights).
Travelers should be aware that countries like Bolivia or Peru involve certain risks, such as safety rules and medical supplies in remote regions with little or no medical care. Considering these situations, the client accepts these risks at their own responsibility.
The client commits to and is obliged to be informed of the customs regulations regarding entry and exit requirements, vaccinations, or other requirements of countries like Bolivia or Peru, among others. Beauty Tours Bolivia is not responsible for non-compliance with any of these mentioned points.
We work with flight, bus, train, transfer, or any other transport companies that have their own insurance.
Beauty Tours Bolivia is not responsible for arranging or compensating for any accidents or damages that occur during the trip.
Beauty Tours Bolivia works with reputable companies such as hotels, flights, buses, trains, transfers, etc., and we do not offer any type of insurance. It is the client's responsibility to be insured against any possible damage.
In case of disputes between Beauty Tours Bolivia and the travel member, an attempt will be made to find a solution where both parties reach an agreement. If a solution is not reached, Beauty Tours Bolivia will rely on Bolivian civil and criminal laws.
