Machupicchu Full Day

Machu Picchu built in the middle of the fifteenth century on the rocky promontory that connects the mountains Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Central, south of Peru and 2490 meters. Machu Picchu is considered both a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Its unique architectural and landscape features, and the veil of mystery that has woven around much of the literature published on the site, we have become one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet.
Machu Picchu is on the List of World Heritage of UNESCO since 1983, as part of a whole cultural and ecological known under the historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu. It is one of the seven wonders of the world.
 
ITINERARY

Early is collected from the hotel to go to the town of Poroy or Ollantaytambo tourist transport arriving at the station and make a 3 ½ hrs approx., To the village of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes bus for 30 minutes will lead us to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour for 2 hours approx. guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll around the citadel and lunch (not included). Then descend to Aguas Calientes where we board our train to return to Ollantaytambo or Poroy and abodar our transport to reach the city of Cusco.
