Salar of Uyuni 3 days - 2 nights

DURATION: 3 days/2 nights
It is Bolivia’s largest saltpan. When there’s a little water on the flats, it reflects perfectly the blue Altiplano sky. When they’re dry, it becomes a blinding white expanse of the greatest nothing imaginable.
It’s a centre of salt extraction and processing around the settlement of Colchani.
The Fish Island (Incahuasi) is a remarkably otherworldly place, a hilly cactus-covered outpost surrounded by a flat white sea of hexagonal salt tiles. A large population of stranded viscachas populates its rocky slope.
The Red, Green, Yellow and Blue Lagoons change colors according to the time of day. The Red Lagoon is home to over 30.000 flamingos of three varieties. The rocks, geysers, live volcanic pits, Dali’s rocks… all make an impressive landscape.
